Ageless Martial Arts offers an excellent dojo location, Sensei Lorenzo is the warmest welcoming Sensei to host children birthday parties or to learn the arts inclusively. AMA hosted my grandson 8th birthday party yesterday and the Sensei found creative ways to keep the children and parents excitedly entertained...AMA is high on my favorites list

This place has been amazing for my son in so many ways. Sensei Lorenzo is fully invested in helping kids (and adults) challenge themselves to meet their full potential (physically and mentally). He also throws an epic Birthday party (also for kids or adults).

So far we are super happy with Ageless Martial Arts and Sensei Lorenzo. He seems to really care about spreading the benefits of martial arts and takes special care to teach karate to kids in a relatable way. The teaching method is the right balance beteeen discipline and fun. And Sensei does a ridiculous amount of extras for both kids and parents. Sensei Lorenzo and his staff go all out and work hard to better our boys and the community. Sensei is passionate, kind and goes to great lengths to please everyone and improve the children’s abilities. Not sure if I have ever met someone who appreciates, accepts and receives thoughts from parents and others to better their business. My boys are learning how to defend themselves, work hard and becoming passionate about being great at Shotokan. They are proud of their accomplishments. Thank you, Sensei!

I have been working out on my own for a very long time but never had much of any practical application of my fitness. I wanted to be able to learn how to apply my force with expertise. This want made me find Ageless. From the first time I spoke to Sensei Lorenzo on the phone he answered all of my questions with expertise and even advised to check out other schools if Ageless did not fit me, this showed me he cared more about my goal instead of his bank account. From the first time I stepped on the mat he was nothing but patient and a professional. I have only just started training at this dojo, but Sensei Lorenzo has made me incredibly excited to steep myself in Japanese tradition and learn the art of Karate. Sometimes exercising can be a chore and be completely difficult especially if you have that crazy trainer who doesn’t think your good enough. Here are the 10 reasons why fitness kickboxing benefits your life as an adult.

  1. MARTIAL ARTS MAKES YOU MOVE EVERY PART OF YOUR BODY

We all realize that there are more parts to our bodies and there are muscles in almost every part of our body. In fitness kickboxing we are punching and kicking and moving areas of our body that we normally don’t use. This develops range of motions and strengthens certain neurological pathways that our muscles retain. This helps training our muscles to react and move the way they want. By increasing the pathway and constantly forcing your body to move, your constantly telling your brain that this area of your body needs to improve.

The whole idea is to create a better range of motions so as your body develops, you can do exercises that are a lot more challenging.

2. CARDIO MAKES YOU STRONGER 

We all have heard this before, doing cardio makes the heart beat stronger. It increases blood for to all areas of the body. It increases circulation and helps muscles function better. By increasing circulation it helps the body function better, this also help increase work load in the muscles so they can last longer and preform better and burn more fat.

3. Working out as a Team 

Its hard to workout alone. Sometimes when your in a kickboxing class its just a lot more fun to workout together. Having people around you can motivate you to do things that you couldnt do alone. Being part of a group with all your friends can be fun and exciting. You can compete against each other and more importantly push each other to do more challenging exercises that you normally wouldn’t do alone.

4. SELF DEFENSE 

Impact training is a huge part of learning how to throw a strike. Learning basic punching and strikes can lead into techniques that might help you in simple altercation. A Remember your training your body almost to fight. By hitting something constantly your automatically training your body how to deal with the stress of hitting something. Though its not ideally the best situation, and its not recommended to use for fighting you never know by throwing a punch in a bad situation might help you get out of it.
