Ageless Martial Arts offers an excellent dojo location, Sensei Lorenzo is the warmest welcoming Sensei to host children birthday parties or to learn the arts inclusively. AMA hosted my grandson 8th birthday party yesterday and the Sensei found creative ways to keep the children and parents excitedly entertained...AMA is high on my favorites list

This place has been amazing for my son in so many ways. Sensei Lorenzo is fully invested in helping kids (and adults) challenge themselves to meet their full potential (physically and mentally). He also throws an epic Birthday party (also for kids or adults).

So far we are super happy with Ageless Martial Arts and Sensei Lorenzo. He seems to really care about spreading the benefits of martial arts and takes special care to teach karate to kids in a relatable way. The teaching method is the right balance beteeen discipline and fun. And Sensei does a ridiculous amount of extras for both kids and parents. Nice to see someone ambitiously growing his small business the right way. Highly recommend Ageless Martial Arts

Sensei Lorenzo and his staff go all out and work hard to better our boys and the community. Sensei is passionate, kind and goes to great lengths to please everyone and improve the children’s abilities. Not sure if I have ever met someone who appreciates, accepts and receives thoughts from parents and others to better their business. My boys are learning how to defend themselves, work hard and becoming passionate about being great at Shotokan. They are proud of their accomplishments. Thank you, Sensei!

I have been working out on my own for a very long time but never had much of any practical application of my fitness. I wanted to be able to learn how to apply my force with expertise. This want made me find Ageless. From the first time I spoke to Sensei Lorenzo on the phone he answered all of my questions with expertise and even advised to check out other schools if Ageless did not fit me, this showed me he cared more about my goal instead of his bank account. From the first time I stepped on the mat he was nothing but patient and a professional. I have only just started training at this dojo, but Sensei Lorenzo has made me incredibly excited to steep myself in Japanese tradition and learn the art of Karate. If you're not quite sure about joining or not, give the dojo a call, you'll see all the proof you need as soon as you talk to Sensei Lorenzo.

Martial Arts Classes In Las Vegas

One thing to importantly note is that humans consist of diverse fears and instincts. Like most of you may know, the most powerful ones are the survival instincts. When a situation is perceived to be stressful, the human mind can respond with an increased dose of fear, especially when it feels like one’s life is in danger.

This also happens in Karate classes in Las Vegas. The fear of fighting karate is normal, and we should take fear as a natural human response. It is vital to note that fighting in itself is stressful.

This is because it can lead to injuries, trouble with the law, and sometimes death—little wonder why some people are afraid. However, when it comes to the world of martial arts , the fear of fighting is taken as a myth than a reality.

Due to all of these, we will be taking a closer look at the connection between fears and fighting in those martial arts schools in Las Vegas. We will address fears in karate classes and how to overcome them.

Before we delve into all of that, we must let you know that it is healthy to be scared because if you are not afraid, it means you may be highly experienced. Nevertheless, some people think that the only way to overcome fear is through experience. This means you will have to get hit.

The process of overcoming both pain and fear demands training. You will be required to face the fear and receive all the pain in Martial arts classes. This is necessary so that you can have the realization that you are fine and you can carry on with life.

When people fight, they want to be in this zone wherein they are in a state where they are not thinking about what they are doing consciously, and whatever is going on around them.

You will tend to feel the hits in such a state, but you will not register the pain consciously.

The Fear Of Fighting And Martial Arts

When it comes to karate classes, there is this fear of fighting, which falls into the group of usual fears humans experience. It is an interesting point as it is quite popular.

Due to the rapid growth of scientific fields like psychology, humans have begun seeking explanations of fears. However, fear is an illusion that a man tends to create yet conquers.

There are three significant triggers when it comes to fighting in martial arts classes Las Vegas. They include:

  • Uncertainty in fighting capabilities
  • Engaging in the fight with a bad experience in the past, and;
  • Being oversensitive.

Bear in mind that every fear has a close link with stress, and fighting in these martial arts schools in Las Vegas or even in public spaces gives a special kind of pressure to people. It does not matter if it is expert fighting or sparring; it affects everybody.

Some boxers talk about the presence of fears in their lives. Note that all athletes get into the field with enormous pressure on their backs, as well as fear.

Nevertheless, martial arts is the source of fear. As a beginner in any of the martial arts schools , you will be anxious and scared within the first initial months of your journey.

Even though the kids may have the desire to have fun, most of the kids fighting karate are scared of failure, pain, and of course, injuries. When it comes down to martial arts classes, fear takes on a vital role in the students’ capabilities.

More so, the power to stay calm and embrace the moment can make lots of difference as the competition starts. Fear affects martial arts students in diverse ways. At first, it will increase the student’s heartbeat thus, making the body seek oxygen.

This can cause fatigue, and no matter how well trained you may think you are, fear had the power to empty the gas tank you believe you have. Fear also freezes the fighter, and it has a direct effect on the fighter’s movements.

Fighting Without Fear

People, especially parents, have asked how their kids can overcome fear in their martial arts classes Las Vegas. The ways Kids in these martial arts classes can do their practice or fight more pleasantly include:

  1. Know your fears

You must have an understanding of your fears and accept them. In a bid to defeat your opponent, you have to know what you are fighting against. Weekly, you can give your body about fifteen to twenty minutes to visualize your training sessions.

As you lay in your bed comfortably, you can take deep breaths and begin thinking about the things you are scared of in life and the martial arts class. When you breathe and isolate yourself, you will be calm and focus on the issue at hand.

Like this, you can get set for the fight or tournament. Through this, your fears will be less intensive, and you will be confident.

  1. Be open about the issue

If you keep your fears to yourself while preparing for a tournament in the martial arts classes, your fears will continually come back. In no time, you can become desperate and without any solution.

When your kids meet the martial arts instructor, you can encourage them to tell the instructor about their fear of fighting. Always have it in mind that no one began martial arts to hurt you intentionally.

  1. Keep training smart and focus on being consistent

When you show up at the gym as much as possible or partake in exercises, you can briefly put an end to the fears and anxiety. You will need to trust the process of learning and be found on the mats a minimum of three times weekly.

We do not mean you should begin training like a maniac daily. Just be smart.

  1. Control your emotions

There are many reasons why emotional reactions are wrong, especially when a person is in a challenging situation such as fighting. Understand that all the emotional responses will not solve issues in your personal life.

Truthfully, controlling your emotions can be hard. It is necessary to control them as they activate diverse instincts and push you far from things or thoughts that are rational and reasonable.

When it comes to controlling your emotions in the class, the most common form is through practicing yoga exercises and meditation. Before your emotions spiral out of control, remind yourself why you are taking martial arts classes Las Vegas and what you hope to achieve.

Never let fear hold you back from your karate dreams.

On a general note, it takes a while to fight without fear in these Martial arts schools in Las Vegas. Like many things in life, you will need dedication, patience, and energy to overcome this fear. In the end, it will be worth it.
